In this article we are going to show you how to create an FTP Account from your Plesk control panel. You can use your FTP account to start uploading files to your account.
1. Login to your Plesk: You can find your Plesk login details in the email we send you when you setup the account.
2. Find and Click “FTP Access” under the account you want to create the account for.
3. Now click the “Add an FTP Account” button.
4. Now complete the short form:
FTP Account Name – This will be the username used for your FTP Account
Home Directory – Choose where you want the FTP account to link to. / will link to the full account but you can specify a certain folder, this is usually changed when allowing someone else access to your files.
Password – Choose a secure password or generate one for your FTP Account.
Once finished click “Ok”.
Your FTP account will now be created and you can use the details you entered to login to your FTP account from your favourite FTP Client.
