How to install WordPress using Softaculous?

Do you want to install WordPress onto your website? We make this very easy thanks to the instant script installer (Softaculous). Using this you can install WordPress properly in a couple of clicks, we have made an in-depth tutorial to help you install WordPress.

Step 1: Login to your cPanel account

Step 2: Scroll down and find “Softaculous” and then select “WordPress”.

Step 3: Click “Install”

Step 4: Enter all of the details in the next step.

Version – Choose the latest version in the options unless you need a particular version.

Protocol – Please select either https://www. or https:// this will activate your free SSL certificate on your website.

Choose Domain & Directory – Choose the domain you want to install WordPress on. If you want to install your WordPress onto a sub-folder please enter that folder into the directory option.

Please fill in the rest of the details and choose a safe password and username.

Step 5: WordPress will now install into the folder you have selected.

Step 6: Your install will now be complete, you can then go directory to your WordPress admin area or the WordPress website.

Your all good to go, you can now use WordPress how you want.
