How to Activate the Free SSL Certificate?

In this article we are going to show you how to activate your free ssl certificate (using Let’s Encrypt) from your Plesk control panel. The free ssl certificates are included with all hosting packages and can be used on all websites connected to your account. 

1. Login to your Plesk: You can find your Plesk login details in the email we send you when you setup the account.

2. Find and Click “SSL/TLS Certificates” under the account you want to apply the SSL to.

3. Now click “Install” under the first option which is to install the free ssl provided by Let’s Encrypt.

4. Enter your email address which is used to inform you on any issues with your SSL, then click the box to secure the wildcard domains.

5. Click “Get it free” and the ssl certificate will start to install on your website.

Your domain name will now be secured by the free ssl certificate, you can install it this way on any domain name you have connected to your account.
