In this article we are going to show you how to create a database from your Plesk control panel. When creating a database on Plesk you also create the database user which can both be used to connect to the database from your chosen application.
1. Login to your Plesk: You can find your Plesk login details in the email we send you when you setup the account.
2. Find and Click “Databases” on the sidebar.
3. Click on the domain name you want to create the database for.
4. Click “Add Database”.
5. Now complete the form and once complete click “Ok”.
Database Name: This is the name of your database.
Related Site: This will link the database you are creating to a specific domain you have on your account.
Database User: Click to create the database user and then choose a database username.
Password: Choose a secure password or generate one.
Once complete click “Ok”.
Your database will now be created and you will be able to connect to that database using the details you have specified. Databases are used for most website scripts.
