Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

As 2021 comes to an end we wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It has been a very strange year for everyone around the world. We truly hope you and your loved ones have managed to stay safe and well.

Smughost in 2021

In all honesty we had a quiet year in regards to changes in the services we offer, we didn’t add any services or pre-made websites to our website, we have instead been focusing on the services we already offer.

We have had a few challenges in 2021 with rising costs from the servers to cPanel licenses. We have managed ride the wave and avoid passing any of them costs to our clients as we never want to do that. As a result of the increasing costs we have made changes to some of our servers by consolidating them and optimising them better where possible.

Unfortunately we hadn’t managed to achieve some of the goals we had set for 2021, there are many reasons for that such as changes of plans or just having to priortise.

Plans for 2022

In 2022 we plan to continue improving the services we already offer as well as expand on our collection of business solutions.

In 2021 we really slacked on improving our knowledgebase so that is something we really want to focus on in 2022, we plan to add lots of content as well as making it easier to navigate and find what you are looking for.

With the increasing costs of cPanel even though there aren’t many major improvements we are going to be testing other control panels and possibly will be offering these control panels as a new service. We will also be contuing to improve our servers that run cPanel.

The truth is we want to be giving back some more, we haven’t had many charities sign up to our free charity website hosting so we will be looking at other ways to give back.

In Conclusion
